Integrity Painting

We take the pain out of painting

We  can help you!

PREPARATION & QUALITY

Each home we paint gets our full attention.  We prepare all surfaces for painting before we start the painting process.

The first step for exteriors is to power wash.  This washes away the airborne sediment and film of pollution from the surfaces that are to be painted so that the primer and paint can adhere correctly to the home.  Power washing also exposes areas on the home that need additional scraping and sanding before the finish coats of paint are applied.

After power washing, we complete any wood replacement that needs to be done.  Our costs are very reasonable for this because we already have the ladders and workmen on site for the painting project.   We always identify the costs for handyman items before we start the work.

The next step is preparing the home for painting.   We always scrape, sand, caulk, and prime before applying the final coats of paint.  Often when homes are painted, the preparation work is not done well enough and the final coats start to fail before it should.  Our paint jobs last in the 10-12 year range.  (I painted a home in 1983 that still does not need repainting.  In 1995 they had an addition built on the back and while we were there to paint the addition I spent 3 hours touching up the rest of the exterior.  In 2005 I went back again to touch up the 10 year old addition and to spend another 3 hours on the rest of the home.  They may need to have the home painted in a few years but it has been 24 years already and the home still looks great.  Over the years this homeowner has referred us to many others and we have benefited many times over for doing a good job on their home.)

We paint the home with airless sprayers when it is safe to use them.  Some companies get in trouble with the sprayers if the operators do not have  the right kind of experience.  The sprayer is a labor saving tool when used correctly.  We do not spray homes using the high speed procedures that painters use on the new construction projects.

After the painting is complete we inspect and touch up the painting on the home before we ask you to inspect our work.  Final payment for the painting is not due until you have inspected and approved the work we have done.

Paint Brush

After power washing we scrape, sand, caulk and prime all areas that need attention before we  apply the final coats of paint.

We mask and protect all areas that are not to be painted.

We will clean up after ourselves.  Here we have the vacuums going to pick up the paint chips we sanded and scraped off the home.

On some homes we need to completely sand and prime the siding to make sure the final coats of paint adhere the way they should.  This is a critical step that can help make the paint job last for 10-12 years.

I have personally been self employed as a painter in the Denver area Since 1982.  Most of our business over the years has been by referrals from happy customers.
